Al, 41, Colorado Springs(AKA Syncear) Red Flag. I just want to put this out there for all the women I can. If I can help just one person, I will be happy. We knew each other for almost a year. I have not only dated this man, but I was engaged and married to him in a matter of just 24 hours. From the beginning, he was everything a woman would want in a man. He was kind, caring, generous, chivalrous, loving and all the things one could dream of. Before we were actually in a relationship, he would send me beautiful messages. (It was crazy. No one had ever done that before.). Then we got in a relationship and the messages stopped. He would buy me flowers weekly. Lots of love bombing. Months into our marriage, he started portraying very controlling behaviors. He was very intruding on topics that are usually discussed within an immediate family…(I.e…inheritances, finances). With that being said, he found out that things weren’t going to be the way he had wanted. After that came up, he told me that I wasn’t as “submissive” as he thought I was or needed me to be. He stated that he should have the final say in every situation. He basically didn’t have the control over me that he hoped for. We have since agreed to file for an annulment. He is also polyamorous (really he’s a male hoe), but won’t share that information until after you fall in love with him. There is so much more. I have much more to say and I don’t want anyone else to be hurt by this person. It’s very easy to fall into the trap. We are still married. He just moved out on 2/24 during a time when I am unable to care for myself (claimed that I was “the love of his life”.)
