I am here for my 2nd appointment today. It’s 610 PM and my appointment was scheduled for 425 PM. I was checked in, did my blood work, vitals, computer questionnaire, then sat and waited 55 minutes to see the RN for my physical. After voicing to her that I was upset due to waiting all this time, , the RN asked me if I was anxious. I said, well yes, I’m highly irritated. So she calls in her manager, , for me to make a complaint. I was not allowed to make a written complaint, the manager explained they were short staffed and this was the only RN available tonight! She offered me a coupon for the wait, then left the room. The RN then continued my physical and at the very end, told me I couldn’t donate today because I’m upset! The last time I was denied because I was deferred in 2007. So they had to wait for my paper file to come in. Now this! This is my 2nd horrible experience here. Clearly you don’t need plasma very badly because I was deferred today because you don’t have staff. I won’t be returning. That’s horrible to treat people like this!
