Harrogate Bus Company — Rude driver

Rude driver

Harrogate Bus Company — Rude driver. When I got on the bus, I told the driver Leeds, he then said one word which I did not understand, I thought he said Leeds, I repeat Leeds. He then said again one word, this time I realised that he said please I was puzzled then I repeated what he said. Then he said yes, said please, someone need to teach you some manners I was shocked but didnot know what to say, but said thank you and thank you for teaching me some manners. I had just mat some friends from York and was feeling happy and was smiling all thoughtout. I had observed other passengers get on the bus and notice not everyone said please and thank you to him. Why is he picking on me? After telling friends of my experience, they said that this driver is very rude and racist, because I am not a white person. They all told me to make this complaint. I have taken many bus journeys and friends who use buses told me that they never said please after telling the driver where they want to go. Please tell me I am wrong. Route 7, vehicle 1857, driver 21127, machine no, 6a01914, tripID 1310/7089, ticket 211710 They should tell the driver to except all passengers, unless they are REALLY RUDE, but not to educate or try to educate people just because they didn’t say please and thank you. To me it doesn’t make sense that you have to say please when you tell a driver where you want to go. Equally, this driver didnot say £2 please and I didn’t insist him to say that to me. I just want a letter from the company to apologise and inform me that this driver has been trained accordingly.
